[...] Quite an eventful night tonight. If like me you haven’t followed the mixtape game since it went digital, take the time to scroll down the frontpage, you’ll see nothing but photoshopped mixtape covers. Tonight we saw mixtape “DJs,” who are desperately trying to hold onto what they’ve been doing for years, flex their “muscle” and flood the “streets” with their latest releases. But, we also saw real time reactions from those who it affects the most. Basically, there were a few new tapes including a Drake tape (that’s not really a Drake tape) and there were whispers that another Drake reference song would be leaking tomorrow. Production duo Tha Bizness just saw another T-Wayne song leak and decided to take matters into their own hands… they leaked the song that was going to drop tomorrow. Read what they had to say about it on their blog. [...]

THANKS 4 DA FREE SONG GUYS
nothing wrong with mixtapes, wayne blew & drake blew up from mxtapes, u blew up off wayne & drake, not 50 or the g-unit, who u are or was signed to.
so u guys should take a long walk off a short bridge for having an attitude like that.
DIGITAL… its the name of the new game,
anyone disagree??????

“nothing wrong with mixtapes”
Of course not, but there IS something wrong with people you don’t even know leeching on the work you’ve done. Can’t blame these guys for getting aggrevated, I don’t think they have a problem with mixtapes, just with a few dudes that ‘create’ them.
